Meet Lynn Wong

Lynn is on a mission to uncover, document, and revive disappearing foods, festivals, spaces, and communities in Singapore.

Besides driving academic research projects on different aspects of the Chinese diaspora - clan associations, historical temples, everyday customs - Lynn has helped numerous organisations amplify the impact of their rich histories by curating memorable exhibitions, organising festivals that engage intergenerations, as well as providing capacity-building trainings.

Well recognised for her heritage efforts, she also empowers individuals to discover and leverage their origin story for personal and professional success.

What People Say

From ideation to execution of the exhibition, Lynn has proven her ability by taking up the roles of a researcher, curator and chief student docent trainer, assisting our team in putting a successful exhibition.

In particular, we would like to commend her for weaving an engaging narrative script for the student docents that greatly aids in creating an immersive experience for visitors. We received compliments from schools, as well as visitors of a diverse profile, including that of distinguished guests like President Halimah Yacob and Minister Ong Ye Kung.

I had the opportunity to visit the “New World, New Life” Exhibition held at SCCC last year. I really appreciate the amount of thinking and effort that went into the conceptualization and the research of content for this exhibition.

You have created a wonderful experience for the visitors and also started off a positive ripple effect for us in schools! Please continue the good work and I look forward to the opportunities that we can collaborate again in the future.
